Before you fill in the form

Before you fill in the form (which is on the next page) please make sure that you have read and understood our Terms and Condition and our Regulatory Information page. If you wish to take out PRS insurance, we strongly suggest that you first ask for our insurance Information Pack so that you can look at the Policy Document and Schedule, and read our brochure on insurance.

Please note particularly what our Terms and Conditions say about our "one contact ony" rule, and about changes of contact. 

If you just want a quick insurance quotation, please use the appropriate form (Insurance in the main menu, then Ask for a quick quotation) not the application form!

Since 1 April 2009, membership of PRS has been optional. You can apply for insurance, or membership, or both - it's your choice.

For insurance, please fill in Part 1 of the form. If you are not able to answer "Yes", where asked to confirm the list of statements, we may still be able to help. Please print off the form and send it to us by post, with a note explaining which statements don't apply, and why. We can then consult the insurers.

For membership, please fill in Part 2 of the form. We welcome applications for membership from residents' associations and companies, but you don't have to be a member in order to take advantage of our insurance scheme.

When you have filled in the form, please click on "Send form" at the end. This will send the form to us, over the internet, and your screen will display a summary of the information you have sent - we suggest that you print and retain this as a record.

If you have difficulty with the online form, please let us know by email us and ask for a paper copy.

We will acknowledge receipt of the form as soon as we can - usually within a few hours - to confirm that insurance cover and/or membership will start as requested.
