Private Roads

What we do

Private Roads Services Ltd ("PRS") provides services to residents' associations and companies responsible for private roads and estates in England and Wales.

We offer our own insurance scheme, a book on the law, extensive online resources for members, and a "starter pack" for residents seeking to form an association or company.

Newsletters

We produce newsletters about three times a year.

Our newsletters are intended to alert members to current issues and developments in the law.  We notify members by email when we produce a newsletter, so they can login to our members pages and read the newsletter.  (We also have a series of brief News items in our public pages.)

We keep newsletters in our members' pages for a year or so, after which issues which are of permanent interest will be reflected in our online guide,  MPRE, which is regularly updated.

The table below indicates the contents of recent newsletters.

  • Can we help you?

We can help in several different ways -

Many residents' associations are members and also use our insurance scheme;  but if you wish you can just be a member, or just take advantage of our insurance scheme - the choice is yours.

If you simply want to know about the law, then our book should assist you.

And if you don't have a proper residents' association or company, our Starter Pack contains the information and assistance you need to form one.
