Solicitors wanted!
PRS is very much about prevention rather than cure - spotting
potential problems and making sure they don't occur, rather than
waiting until things go wrong before taking action.
But sometimes our members need assistance from solicitors;
perhaps to start or defend legal proceedings, or to give written
advice, draft legal documents, or set up an association or
company.
We're currently looking for suitably-qualified firms of
solicitors, in all parts of England and Wales, to whom we can refer
members when necessary. We are looking for a friendly,
practical approach, and a good understanding of the legal issues -
in particular property law, and the law relating to public and
private rights of way. Experience of working with property
companies, and/or local government, would probably be helpful.
