There is no obligation to renew membership, but the services we provide are intended to be regarded as a long-term proposition. In order to encourage long-term membership we offer three-year membership for the price of two years,the current rate being £150, but £100 for roads with less than 20 properties.

Members are entitled to one free copy of the current edition of Private Roads: The Legal Framework (further copies can be bought at half the normal price). They are also entitled to access the resources in our members' pages. Nearly all this material, including procedents, model letters, information and advice, can be downloaded without further charge, but it is provided for the exclusive use of current members and must be destroyed or returned to us if membership ceases. For some precedents a small charge is made, and these may be retained and used after membership ceases.

Members are also entitled to take advantage of insurance under the PRS insurance scheme, underwritten by Norwich Union. Insurance is not available without membership.

Members are asked to provide and use a single contact name and address, and a single email address, in dealing with us.

We are able to deal with most queries quickly and effectively by email or telephone without further charge; but for longer items of work we make a standard charge of £50 per hour.

Advice and information is given in good faith, and we make every reasonable effort to see that it is accurate and up to date; but no liability can be accepted for errors and omissions.
